Mercury Had FUN With this 1968 Mercury Hood / Radiator Ornament.

Here's Why: According to FORD/LINCOLN/MERCURY Parts Book, this ornament was used on all Full Sized Mercurys' Radiator Grille/Grill. Part number on the Grille/Grill is C8MY-8223-A.

Then they used this same ornament on the 1968 C Body Hoods (IE: Comets and Montegos). Part Number for the Hood Mount is showing as C8MY-8A223-A

This ornament was used one year only.

These Tribute Air Cleaners came out beautifully, and are now available exclusively by The Lincoln/Mercury Old Parts Store. The red striping was painted on by a locally contracted artist. These came out especially well and The Lincoln/ Mercury Old Parts Store is proud to offer them to the public now. This design was originally made for the LINCOLN only. There is also a Mercury design that should be available by the end of the 2009.

These are reproduction Air Cleaner Assemblies that are Show Quality. Assembly will work on Super Marauder Engine with the three carburetor Assembly, which was offered as an accessory on 1958 Lincoln and Mercury.

Air Cleaner Description

The air cleaner is a larger three-piece assembly which is common to all three carburetors. The assembly consists of an upper body or cover, the filter element (dry type), and a lower body or tray with three openings which fit on the air cleaner mounting flanges of the carburetor. The upper and lower halves of the air cleaner are fastened together by screws, with the filter element enclosed. The complete assembly is attached to the carburetors by means of wing nuts threaded onto the air cleaner anchor studs in each carburetor.

Please check your parts book to verify this part for your vehicle.

High Performance Fuel Pump Kit

For AC fuel Pumps fitting 1958/ 1959/ 1960 Lincoln & Mercury 430 Engines.

For years, the Owner of The Lincoln/Mercury Old Parts Store envisioned recreating this very sought-after high performance Fuel Pump kit, and after 11 years of planning and manufacturing, it has arrived. Only 100 of these units have been manufactured and it is highly unlikely that it will ever be done again. We are offering this to you at special introductory pricing.

The kit includes the upper body of the AC fuel pump, necessary fittings, fuel filter canister, fuel filter, Super MARAUDER Service Bulletin, and fuel pump rebuilding instructions. Also includes NEW fuel pump rebuild kit. Upper body is recast in aluminum, expertly machined, impregnated to minimize the chance of leakage and powder-coated to protect from fuel and chemical damage. The filter canister has been machined to closely resemble the original. It also has been anodized to prevent oxidation and fuel and chemical damage. THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE MAIN BODY OF FUEL PUMP.
